Build On Your Strengths
We tend to spend a lot of time thinking about the things we don't do well. From a young age, we're taught to round out our skills, our capabilities, our abilities.
As we get older, though, we tend to get fixated on our weaknesses. What we don't do well, what we wish we could do better.
This becomes a problem when we let it override our focus on our strengths - what we do really well. What comes naturally to us. What allows us to make change in the way that we are more naturally able to.
Instead, we brood over our deficiencies and why we're not good enough. We build insecurities that dwell on our inadequacies and ultimately limit our potential.
What a waste of time.
What a waste of mind space.
What a waste of potential.
We're not going to be great at everything. That's a fact.
But we are great at some things. And those things are what will drive us forward and help us change our worlds.
Let's change the paradigm. Let's capitalize on ourselves. Let's build on what we are strong and passionate about.
