A Few Words On Life From Spencer Strasmore

A short (and late) one today given other commitments - but I did want to share something I heard that really resonated with me. 

I was watching the HBO show “Ballers” which stars Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) and in Season 5, he talks about how he thinks about living life, making decisions and moving forward. 

As far as I’m concerned, it’s the absolute truth:

“In the end, nothing is black or white. That’s why you have to find your own truth. 

Some people call it a rationalization, I call it being practical. 

Look, to say I don’t care what anyone else thinks would be a lie. You’ll always care what your friends and family think. 

But at the end of the day, you’ve only got yourself and the fucks you choose to give. 

Everything else is someone else’s problem.”
