Happy Thanksgiving!
A brief post from me today as I’m afraid I’m still feeling the effects of a more than abundant Thanksgiving Day feast.
Someone once said that “Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.” You know, we see this in all walks of our lives, from work to personal ones.
We experience acts of kindness, of support, of grace in different ways, large and small, all the time. And much of the time, we recognize these acts for what they are - someone going out of their way to help us.
So it’s important that when we do see these acts, we take the time to tell these folks how special they are and how appreciative we are. That they add to us and, indeed, make us better.
In that vein, let me take this opportunity to say Thank You to each and every one of you who’ve read this blog (even occasionally) over the last 5 and a half years. Each post is my own personal form of therapy - it helps me make sense of the world around me, and think things through. I figure if it helps me, then every now and then, it’ll resonate or help someone reading it as well. Hopefully, that’s been the case.
So, Thank You again, for taking a moment of your day to read my thoughts and, when they’ve meant something to you, for passing them on to someone else you think it will help. I want you to know I really do appreciate it.
Happy Thanksgiving!
