Nature or Nurture?

Karma or Free Will?

Which do you believe in?

Do you have a choice?

Is everything defined by your roots, your genetics?

Or do we have control? Can we overcome? Can we achieve?

What you believe determines where you go. Determines what you expose yourself to. Determines what the voice in your head says.

I don't believe in the limitations of our past. It's meaningless other than as a barrier to overcome. It holds no place in our ambitions. And even where it has influence (to what extent, no one can say), what's the alternative? To give up? No thanks.

Free will, always. Personal control, always. Positive nurturing, always.

Think Roger Bannister and the 4 minute mile.

Think Oprah and her difficult youth.

Think Richard Branson and his dyslexia.

Think any number of actors and their homelessness, poverty, childhood of abuse.

There are too many examples of success to let me (or you) think otherwise. There are too many paths that show we can move forward.

Free will. Personal empowerment. Personal control.

Always.
