Is Plan B Distracting You From Plan A?
Twitter has become a bit of a guilty pleasure (and at times 'infuriator') for me. I will admit that I probably spend a bit more time on it than I should.
But every now and then, I come across a gem of a quote, such as this one:
Your mission demands your heart and soul. It demands every ounce of your being. If you have no safety net, then you have no choice but to find a way(s) to make your plan work, to seek out the best path that will get you to your end state, to succeed.
And a Plan B can, far from providing security, provide an out. And let's face it, we don't need an out. We need the compulsion to stay in. We need the persistence to keep at it. To get our shit done.
We need to be compelled to realize Plan A.
And that's the truth, Ruth.
