We Should Argue...
We should argue.
Seriously.
We should argue.
So long as it's about the content. So long as our intent is positive. So long as we're respectful of each other's points of view. So long as we have the same end vision. So long as we're not attacking who we are but how we think about the issue.
It's OK to get passionate. It's OK to raise our voices (reasonably). It's OK to debate into the wee hours.
Because these are signs of passion. Emotion. Commitment.
Without it, we're order takers. Without it, we're robots. Without it, we're simple cogs in the machine - easily interchangeable, easily replaceable.
And what's the point of that?
If we're arguing, we're engaging not just our mind, but our heart, our soul.
We're creating.
We're making change.
We're making art.
And that is entirely the point.
